Ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1 1/2 cups warm water
A pinch of Salt
3 tablespoonful of Oil
Sugar (optional)
Instructions:
Add warm water to bowl
Add pinch of salt and sugar
Add 3 tablespoonful of oil
Add flour at a slow pace
Start to knead dough until it is non-stick
Add 1 spoonful of oil until dough is smooth
Let dough rest for 15-20 minutes
Kneading Process:
Cut dough into small portions
Prepare to roll dough by sprinkling flour on to surface
Place the cut dough into surface and start to roll using a rolling pin
Add oil to the rolled dough and start to shape into a circle
Again knead the circled dough into a Chapatti shape
Heat the pan
Add oil,
Place the chapati kneaded dough into a heated pan,
Flip the chapati once golden brown and add oil to the pan,
Remove when both sides are golden brown.
Serving:
The Chapatis can be served as breakfast with tea or for lunch with preferred gravy.
